                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED IN THE 100
                   BLOCK OF HONEST STREET, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST
                   LINE OF HONEST STREET NORTHWEST OF LEE HIGHWAY,
                   FROM C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE TO M-1
                   MANUFACTURING ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located in the 100 block of Honest
                Street, being on the northwest line of Honest
                Street northwest of Lee Highway.  Part of lot 2,
                Paul Gray (Trustee) Resubdivision of Sterchi Acres,
                as shown by plat of record in plat book 26, page
                135, ROHC; being the property described in deed
                book 2582, page 547, ROHC.  Tax Map No.
                158A-C-25.3.
               
               
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone to M-1 Manufacturing Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
